Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades to gear increase its base stats and sometimes increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations that are applied.

For instance, the top shield for racial discrimination Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb function in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable over the unupgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item is replaced with another of the same kind and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item level upgrade and any resources that are wasted aren't refunded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or buy them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment in three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an Best item upgrader that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the spot until the next Success result is rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones which increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's levels and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will receive an upgraded level. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will have an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be applied to more than one item at a time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a certain amount of items to be applied in addition to a minimum amount for the equipment.

The upgrade item Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place items to be upgraded. On the right, previews show what the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when the player has enough materials will start the upgrading process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the stats of the base item will increase by an amount of. The maximum level of an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option of upgrading. Likewise, once an item is on an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an extra effect or attribute benefit while the equipment is being used. Some items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats and more for the fact that it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will display an open window that displays the required requirements. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of that item, the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
