Lever/Pad

It is important to ensure that when you choose a new set of Upvc lever pad handles, they match the PZ (distance from the spindle of the handle to the centre of the hole of the cylinder) of your multipoint door locks. This is because they need to be aligned in order so that the doors remain locked, whether you are looking at them from the inside or outside. The handles we sell are designed to work with most standard cylinder locks, however you should double-check prior to purchasing.

If you want to upgrade to dual spindle levers, you'll need to remove the handles you have already installed and disassemble the lock case. This will require an extra split inline cylinder. They can be purchased separately, and we provide the complete technical diagram for you to take a look at in the pictures for each product.

It is recommended to loosen the screws holding the door handle you have and then check the mechanism. You may need to loosen the screws even more when they aren't tight. Then you can remove the old handle and spindle and replace it with a new upvc door handle. It is important to ensure that the handle is in the proper position before fixing it. You can do this by placing your finger between the door frame and the handle to ensure that it is level.

Lever/Lever

Lever door handles function as with a multi-point lock that utilizes the Euro cylinder. They can be found on most upvc door locks and handles double doors, aluminium doors and some wooden doors. They are available in two varieties, with an interior lever and a paddle outside. Sprung - these include a spring cassette within the backplate that helps bring the handle lever into an upright position. Non-sprung: They do not include a mechanism that can spring the handle lever into a horizontal position.
