Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the power of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.

Leveling

Some items benefit from upgrading not so much for their improved stats and more because it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. If you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will show a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item upgrader mod. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will place an item in your inventory after you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
