It's heavy, so it takes two people to secure the carrier into the base, and then detach it.

In our tests, it took around 5 minutes to assemble the UPPAbaby Cruz v2. It's a fairly quick process when you take into account the time saved by not having to take out all the pieces. The majority of these models come with an easy process for attaching and detaching the toddler seat, but there are other options as well.
