Albums

The discography of American rock group Toto includes 13 studio albums, 4 live albums, 메이저사이트 순위 as well as a number of compilations. Toto has released original music and collaborated with other artists on soundtracks and films. The band has won multiple Grammy Awards for their work.

Before Toto was formed The members of the band performed session work for other musicians. Drummer Jeff Porcaro, bassist David Hungate and keyboardist David Paich (the son of session drummer Marty Paich and brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro) played on Boz Scaggs 1975 album Silk Degrees. The collaboration led to the formation of Toto in the year 1976.

Turn Back, Toto's third studio album, was criticized by critics due to the absence of hit singles. In 1985 the lead singer Fergie Frederiksen left the group, and the group held auditions for the new frontman. Guitarist Steve Lukather was chosen, and the group recorded their 1986 album Fahrenheit.

In 1998, Toto celebrated its 20th anniversary by going through several old demos and tapes to release a special album called Toto XX. The album was well-loved by fans and Toto embarked on an extensive tour with former members Bobby Kimball Steve Porcaro and Joseph Williams.

During the tour for the album 40 Trips Around the Sun the drummer Leland Sklar departed from the group and was replaced by Shem von Schroeck. In 2017, Toto released a double-CD live set titled Falling in Between, which included recordings from the tour as well as an interview with Toto.
