Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations that are applied.

For instance, the top shield of racial violence Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to reroll a purchased item, like an armor, weapon or ring. This replaces the item with another of the same kind and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. They don't preserve the original item's level, and any resources wasted aren't rewarded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can roll their equipment using three categories three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher quality and requires an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces, remains on the space until the next success is rerolled. This is a way to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. Once they're opened, they display a full description and icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.

This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This affects the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that can increase the quality of an item level upgrade by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not impact the longevity of the item. This makes the system an excellent way for players to gain an advantage in combat without straining their bank account. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.

For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets you increase the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is achieved by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the Best Item Upgrade an additional boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been attained.

Items that have upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components cannot be stacked with each other, but can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component will require a certain number of items and a minimum level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left one is where players can add a piece of equipment to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. When a player has enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option to upgrade. Likewise, once an item is on the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to the track will be offered at a discount.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons in order to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired by completing quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs, which can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently own. The requirements to upgrade an Best item upgrader vary depending on the type of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for extra effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade element is inserted into an item, it cannot be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restrictions.

Upgrades can boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the Best item upgrader's stats.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve an exact roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.

The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component that goes into the item. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of the item, the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

Once you've met the required conditions for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
