Another excellent travel stroller is the UPPAbaby G-Luxe that folds up into a triangular shape and is about as small as a backpack for babies. It's got enough space for an extra weekender bag and a diaper bag and an extra pocket for the back. There are two parent cupholders. The G-Luxe is restricted by the fact that it can't recline fully and lacks a practical strap for carrying. However, it's an excellent choice for families who are always on the move.

The Cybex Libelle is the most compact stroller in terms of folding. This stroller folds down into a rectangular shape that is as thin as the thickness of a passport. It can be easily placed in the bag of a backpack or purse. It can be rolled along the aisles of an airplane and is perfect for gate-checking, cabin storage or even for storage in the overhead compartments.

Easy to Carry

In addition to taking up less space in your car, lightweight strollers are easy to carry and store using a carrier, making them great for families on the go. Some fold down like an umbrella, allowing you to put them in the corner of your car trunk or even in your diaper bag when not in use. The UPPAbaby Minu stroller is an excellent example of a lightweight stroller which offers plenty of functionality for the price. Its suspension is able to handle rough terrain, it has a decent canopy (though not as much coverage as our top pick), and the recline mechanism is simple and user-friendly. It's not like the Yoyo2 or Munchkin Sparrow and weighs more than the Bugaboo Butterfly, so you might need to gate-check it for flights. The stroller comes with a clever feature: a retractable handle that can be used as a footrest when folded.

Contours Quick Elite is another fantastic option. It can accommodate 30 different car seats (adapter required), or a child as big as 50 lbs. It's not as light as our top options, but it's compact when folded. It also comes with a large under-seat basket big enough to fit an entire backpack.

Easy to store
