If you're on a budget and don't require a stroller that can double up as a car seat carrier The Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip flop user-friendly.

It's simple to push, and it is solid when navigating kerbs and woodland paths. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has built a reputation as the most lightweight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, thanks to its extremely nimble handling and foldable design that can be tucked away in the overhead luggage of aeroplanes. The latest version has independent suspension on all four wheels comprised of Hytrel elastomer, which allows it to perfectly navigate all terrains and types'.

The base YOYO2 frame, curved fabric bassinet and the 6+ month colour pack come together to create a stylish pushchair that is easy on the eye with a subtle yet elegant design and a tasteful branding. The frame's base weight is less than a kilogram, and is so light that you can lift it out of the box with just one hand.

The hood, for instance, snaps on the YOYO2 in a calm way. It is machine washable at 30deg, which helps to prevent stains caused by smushed rice cakes and carrot puffs. It can be used as a pram starting from birth using the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted into stroller at 6 months using the YOYO Connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great choice for parents who are looking for a versatile stroller. It can be converted from a stroller to a wagon just by flipping the handle, meaning parents can choose which mode they prefer on their adventure. The wagon can fit two or three children ranging from 6 months to five years old. It has a large storage basket that will hold everything you need on the go.

The Xplore also features dual canopies that turn from front to back, ensuring ample sun coverage for all family members. It has a smaller footwell than other wagons. This isn't suitable for long trips or napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon is solid and sturdy, however, it isn't able to bend as much as some other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult to fold than some of the other models and does not close tightly when folded. It is easy to move, however, and fits through doors with a width of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents seeking a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It was awarded an impressive score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and size folded which means it's light, compact when folded and easy to move into a trunk of a car or closet. It also offers a multi-position reclining seat and a parent cup holder. Other features of note include 360-degree shock absorbing front wheels and two large hanging storage bags.

It performed better in our push and turn test than most of the other strollers we tested but is still difficult to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger sunshades.

It took us under 3 minutes to put together the Delta using a standard manual. All of the components required tools. However, it is missing some critical features that we think you should consider non-negotiable in a double stroller, such as an extra-large basket, and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's newest pushchair, and is advertised as an urban travel system. It is designed to take baby from birth up to approximately 3.5 years old, and can be converted into a seat and carrycot by just a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It includes a light Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in car-base and a reversible car seat.

It's a breeze to maneuver, and the one-hand reclining of the seat and the massive shopping basket make it easy for parent-tots to get the child out and in quickly. This narrow pushchair handled every day bumps and doors with ease.

The front wheels can be locked into a forward position or let them swivel which helps when covering rough terrain. When we walked along the stony path we allowed them to swivel and it did this quite well although it did seem more bumpy than the other models on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2,

Baby Jogger is best single pushchair known for its 3-wheeled all-terrain strollers that jog. But they also make a broad range of 4-wheeler pushchairs. City Tour 2 is their most well-known model. It folds easily and fits in the car's boot even with the carrycot attached.

It weighs more than other strollers we've tested, but because it has composite wheels made of rubber it feels solid and well-constructed. It is easy to maneuver over various terrains and even with two kids with shopping bags and other things.

The carrycot and seat both come with hoods with pull-down sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are sturdy and waterproof, unlike other prams hoods which can be blown back onto toddlers' faces.

It's not a lot of storage space but it has a large, deep basket to hold a change bag or plenty of groceries. You can also connect it with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies as big as 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a good choice if you want to use a stroller on the go.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller single that captured the hearts of a large number of parents when it first came out. It's an aluminum-framed stroller that can be used from infant's first days until. It's got a few notable features, including the possibility of flipping the seat to be parent-facing and world-facing, a huge UPF 50+ canopy, a flip out eyeshade, a spacious basket and adjustable handlebar.

The chassis has a suspension system built-in which reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made of tough foam, which reduces punctures. Our tester found it to be smooth to push and was able to maneuver it through narrow streets with ease.

It folds in just four steps and automatically locks with no fuss. It is also able to stand and be rolled around for easier transportation in the car's boot or down the stairs at home. The travel system is included with the option of adding an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors included. The brakes are easy to use using a single stroller sale action color coded and flip-flop compatible.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget-friendly pushchair is simple to operate and features a great dual suspension. It can be folded using just one hand, and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It's also lightweight and sturdy. The seat can be reclined into many different positions. It also has a double-breathable mattress that's suitable for babies.

The canopy/seat comes with two large sun visors that are fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. However, the toggle closure isn't great because it's not as quiet as Velcro and can wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is a stroller with an angled design that can be used for twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It's compatible with two infant car seats and even works with some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be positioned to face each other or rotate around to face the parents, theoretically decreasing sibling rivalries over who sits with mom and dad. It comes with a large bottle holder, a gear tray snack tray, and a change mat. It also has an automated frame lock and a compact single stroller fold.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger for parents who like to stay active. It's one of the lightest strollers you can get for your child. It comes with excellent safety features such as a 5-point harness and safety wrist strap. It comes with a different kind of hand brake than other models, which is an innovative twist.

The seat is padded and provides a wide area to sit. However, the seat depth is less than that of other joggers (it's just about 10 inches") The storage bin has an open-top cover that can be closed to keep items secure. It can hold up to 10 lbs., which is sufficient for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with infant car seats or bassinets in the way it is, however you can use it from day one by purchasing adapters for the majority of seats made by brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It folds down compactly and takes between 5 and 10 minutes to put together with no tools. The instruction manual is simple to understand and is available in multiple languages.
