Size

Midi beds are generally lower than high-sleepers, and also have a shorter ladder or staircase. They are therefore ideal for smaller spaces. They can also use the standard UK single mattress and add a range of useful pieces beneath. Our midi cabin beds are available in a variety of colours so you can pick the one that will best suit your bedroom for your child. Some go even further and include various bespoke storage units. The desk can be moved between the two units on wheels. There are also four storage drawers and two cabinets that have doors. The Eli F takes it to the next level by having doors that match the color of the chosen foot and headboards.

The Luna low-line loft bed, also known as a Midi-storage bed is small, and comes with everything you need. A ladder that is able to be rotated, a desk on wheels that slide between the two, and a three drawer cabinet and chest are all included. You can also have it made in a reverse configuration, for example the ladder on the left. Ask in the store or include this request at the time of checkout.

Some midi loft beds with storage come with the desk already integrated into the bunk (as as shown in the picture above) and others, like our Luna Midi bunk bed in middle of room have the ladder set on the right-hand side so that the desk can be positioned on the left (please ask in store, or on the phone, or in the comments section when you're looking around in case this is important to you).

It's worth noting that most Midi loft beds with desks require the standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with wooden slatted bases. This is not included in the cost of the bed, so we suggest looking at our mattress deals to find one that suits your budget!

Storage

A midi cabin bed that has storage is the perfect solution for rooms with children that require more space. These beds can be lower than high sleepers, and include an incline or ladder to make it easy to access. They are usually fitted with clever storage options such as cabinets, drawers and desks that can be used to store books as well as toys and other things. Some midi loft bed models have an attractive, movable tent that can be used for sleepovers, games and activities.

Some of our midi-cabin beds offer the option of adding doors to the drawers and cabinets. They are available in the same colour as the foot and head board that you have selected. Please ask in store, by phone, or add an item to your order in case this is something you want.

The Luna low line loft or midi is compact and comes with everything you require. It features a low staircase that has the option of it to be turned into a desk that slides in and out on wheels, two large drawers, and a cabinet with a door, all included. Mattress

Most midi beds take standard UK single mattresses. The top bunk is equipped with a safety rail to give you peace of mind. Some models have a pull-out trundle drawer that can be used for sleepovers or to create more storage space under the bed. These can either be open or have doors (please see the product details for complete details).

A lot of midi cabins have a desk that can be moved from one level to the other, or chests. This allows the children to have their own space to store all of their belongings. This also means they don't have to take up valuable floor space with large wardrobes or shelves.

Some models have gone a step further by having cabinets that are flush mounted or even part of the headboard/footboard. This is ideal for storage of toys and books.

Included are the low-level 'turned steps' as well as a desk with wheels that can slide in and out as well as three drawer chest and a cabinet door.
