Saab Key Replacement

Having your car keys stolen or lost can be extremely inconvenient. If you have an extra key, attaching an additional key to your vehicle is comparatively inexpensive and easy.

Lockouts

Be careful while doing this and don't drop or pour any liquids into the case because they could damage the electronic components inside.

The dealer will have to replace the CIM (Column Integration Module) or TWICE (Theft Warning Integrated Central Electronics), depending on the model, and the key itself. Furthermore it must be programmed to work with the new module. Keys that are claimed new from aftermarket sellers are usually not properly initialized and not program correctly when you require them.

It is not uncommon for a battery to wear out in a keyfob over a couple of years of usage, especially if the fob is frequently used for locking and unlocking vehicles. Fortunately, replacing the battery in the majority of SAAB 9-3 key fob models is easy and doesn't require any special tools.
