1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate light-weight buggy for jet-setters and city dwellers alike, due to its extremely nimble handling and foldable design that can be tucked away in aeroplane overhead luggage. The latest version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels made from Hytrel Elastomer, which allows it to effortlessly navigate all types of surface and terrain'.

The YOYO2 frame base along with the curved fabric bassinet and six-month colour pack come together to make a stylish and elegant pushchair that is easy on the eyes, with a subtle but elegant aesthetic and tasteful branding. The frame's weight is less than a kilogram and is so light you can lift it from the box using just one hand.

The hood, for instance is able to snap onto the YOYO2 in a calm manner. It's also machine washable up to 30 degrees, which helps to prevent the stains that result from smushed rice cakes and carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as an infant stroller. It could also be converted into a stroller at 6 months using the YOYO connect to additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore single stroller with standing board wagon is a great option for parents seeking a stroller that is versatile. The Evenflo Xplore can be transformed from a stroller into an actual wagon by flipping the handle. Parents can then decide the best mode for their needs. The wagon can be used by two or more children from 6 months to 5 years, and it has a wide storage basket for everything you need on the go.

The Xplore has dual canopies which rotate from front-to-back, providing adequate sun protection for all family members. It also has a footwell that is not as large or deep as other wagons, which means it may not be ideal for longer excursions or for napping.

The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy but it doesn't bend as much as some other wagons that we tried. It is also more difficult to fold than many of the competition and it doesn't close tightly when folded. It is easy to move, however, and can fit through narrow doors of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents who are looking for a second stroller that's affordable. It scored high in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and folded dimensions, meaning it is lightweight and compact when folded and easy to carry and put in a trunk for your car. It also has a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other important features include two large hanging storage bags as well as 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

It did better in our push and turn test than many of the strollers we tested, but it is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. Its sunshades were among the smallest strollers we tested. They only cover the top and do not feature peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a much larger canopy.

The Delta took us just under 3 minutes to put together using an average manual and all of the components required tools. It's missing certain features we believe are essential for double strollers. These include an extra-large basket, reclining seats and leg rests that can be adjusted.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi’s newest pushchair that is advertised as a travel system for urban use. It is designed to take infants from birth until around 3.5 years old, easily changing between a carrycot and seat in just a few clicks. It is compatible with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a lightweight Mico 30 infant seat, a car-base that stays in the car and a reversible car seat.

It's really easy to maneuver and the one-hand reclining of the seat and the super large shopping basket make it easy for parent-tots to get the child in and out of the seat quickly. Although it is a narrow pushchair it handled the everyday bumps well and was able to pass through doorways without fuss.

The front wheels can to be locked in a forward position or swivel. This is useful when navigating rough terrain. On our walk on the stony path, we let them swivel and it handled this fairly well, though it did appear more bumpy than the other models on test.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is best known for its 3-wheeled all-terrain strollers that jog. However, they also make a broad selection of pushchairs with four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most loved models. It is simple to use and folds up small enough to fit into the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It is heavier than the other strollers we've tested, but because it has rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-constructed. It maneuvers expertly across different types of terrain. It's easy to carry even with two children and shopping bags.

The carrycot and the seat both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal sun canopy extensions that are UV50+. They are water-resistant and durable unlike other prams' hoods which get turned back into toddlers faces.

It's not the biggest of storage space, but it does have a large basket that's deep enough for a changing bag as well as plenty of groceries. You can also use it with a Baby Jogger car seat for babies who weigh 20 pounds or less (car seat and adapters are available separately). If you require a stroller that can be used on the road, the City Tour 2 is an excellent option.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

Nuna Mixx was a stroller that won the hearts of many parents when it first came out. It's a frame made of aluminum that will be with you throughout your baby's early days and beyond. The seat can be reclined into many positions and has a built-in double breathable mattress that is suitable from birth.

The canopy/seat features two large fixed or flip-out sun visors and both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't great it's not as quiet as Velcro and can wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is a side-by-side stroller and can be configured to accommodate twins or siblings (up to 22kg max per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and some carrycots. In twin mode seats, the seats can be placed so that they face each the other. They can also be positioned to face the parents. This can help to reduce sibling arguments over who gets seated with mom and dad. It comes with a huge gear tray with a bottle holder as well as snack tray. It also comes with a compact stand fold and automatic frame lock.
