The LED lighting is a nice feature. The bins for storage inside include a third shelf that can be folded down to store tall objects. The drawers are equipped with temperature controls so that you can set them for Meat, Beverage or Deli settings. The drawers are simple to open and close, but I found the textured plastic coatings to be a bit rough on my fingers.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator includes all the features you would expect from a refrigerator in this price range. This includes Wi-Fi, app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app is compatible with iOS and Android devices and allows you to manage your refrigerator from anywhere around the world. It also has a lot of customization options. It also sends you notifications when a door is left open, when the refrigerator or freezer needs defrosting and when it's time to change the filter.

It would be great it GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill the option that is available in a handful of GE refrigerators that allows users to set how many cups they want to disperse. It does have a countdown on the fridge display to show how much water you have remaining, but that's not as useful as Precise Fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is a stunning piece of equipment. It's designed to look like it's a seamless component in your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also has a vegetable compartment that helps keep vegetables and fruits fresher longer and dual compressors to ensure the best preservation of food. The Ice maker is among the best we've ever tested and produces pyramid-shaped ice with a low use of water. This fridge is perfect for a small household or a kitchenette with a built-in appearance and top-of-the line food preservation.

This fridge was rated as the best in our Refrigerators Test due to a variety of reasons. Its freezer temperatures held firm at a level that was just above 0 degrees Fahrenheit and never changing by more than a fraction a degree--this is key in preventing freezing burn. The fridge section of the fridge also performed well. It reached the initial temperature within an hour and remained at the temperature throughout our tests.

Bosch is a household name for its high-end appliances. Therefore, it's not a surprise that the Bosch counter depth fridge can be connected to your home Wi Fi and Bosch's platform Home Connect. The app allows you to control and monitor your refrigerator remotely on your tablet or smartphone. The refrigerator is costly however, it offers excellent features and functions at a fair price.

They have handles that are sunken on the front that allow smaller people to pull them open from the bottom, however they're not easy for taller people to steer closed without slamming the doors. It would have been better if they had handles mounted on the front.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a excellent option for those looking to combine the benefits of a French-door fridge's aesthetics with an efficient layout. Its capacity is superior for a counter-depth model, and it cools evenly and has a good layout. It's also a bit less than the top counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which helps make it a popular choice.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for an French door refrigerator that won't cost a fortune and isn't expensive, this Frigidaire is a great choice. It's a basic design that isn't as striking visually as some of the competition however it comes with enough features that make it a great choice. You can alter this feature using the slider located on the in the middle of the drawer. You can also adjust the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I have found that the general settings are more effective than the specific ones.

In my tests, the temperature of the refrigerator stayed fairly consistent across different areas of the fridge. The temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge didn't stray significantly from 38 degrees, and the middle of the fridge was within one degree of 36. This is a good performance but does not quite make it to the top of our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also pair this fridge with a smart thermometer for more precise measurements of your fridge's temperature.

The Frigidaire FGHB2866PF's exterior is made of stainless steel with a grey body with a "smudge-proof" finish. It does an excellent job of repelling fingerprints and streaks, even compared to glossier stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tested.
